Hire Roles, contracts and projects

Hire me to make search pay.

I am 'Wole Oduwole, an SEO and GEO strategist with twelve years in organic search, agency-side and in-house, and the founder of SEOGidi, which serves more than 500 clients across the UK and EMEA. I take on full-time leadership roles, contract and interim work, fractional CMO engagements and defined projects. Based in the West Midlands, England. Open to London hybrid, and remote across the UK and beyond.

01 Four ways to hire me

Pick the shape that fits the problem.

01

Full-time leadership

Head of SEO · SEO Lead · Head of Growth

For companies where organic search is, or should be, a main channel. I build the strategy, hire and coach the team, set up measurement that leadership trusts, and own the number. Hybrid in the West Midlands, including Birmingham and Coventry, or remote across the UK.

02

Contract and interim

3 to 12 months · Inside your team · Day rate

When you need senior SEO capacity now, not after a six-month hiring process. Covering a Head of SEO gap, running a site migration without losing traffic, or building the function from nothing so a permanent hire inherits something that works.

03

Fractional CMO

One to two days a week · Startups and scale-ups

For founders who need marketing leadership before they can justify a full-time CMO. Positioning, channel strategy, the first marketing hires and a plan the board can read. I have done this for media, eCommerce, SaaS and professional services businesses in the UK and Africa.

04

Defined projects

Audits · Migrations · Launches · AI search

A fixed piece of work with a clear end. Technical audits that a developer can act on, migrations planned line by line, product launches into new markets, and entity and AI search work so ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google describe you correctly. Quoted in scope.

02 Results

Numbers, not adjectives.

  • 500K → 2MMonthly organic users at TalkGlitz Media, through architecture, crawl and indexation work. Top 50 entertainment news sites in Nigeria by 2020.
  • +85%Organic traffic at African Examiner, a high-volume US-based news operation, through news SEO and technical fixes.
  • +60%User growth at StakeGains, a sports prediction platform in a trust-sensitive vertical.
  • 36 → 500+SEOGidi clients, from the first 36 I pitched and won to more than 500 across the UK and EMEA. 60% of year-one clients grew reach and conversion by over 200%.

03 Where I work

West Midlands in person. The UK and beyond, remotely.

I am based in the West Midlands, England. For employers and clients across the region, including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Dudley, Walsall and the wider Black Country, I come in person when it helps the work. For more on local work, see the West Midlands SEO page.

For London roles I am open to hybrid. Across the rest of the UK, including Manchester, Bristol and Leeds, I work remotely with on-site days by arrangement. Internationally, I work on UK time and overlap well with Europe, West Africa and the US East Coast mornings. I have run work for teams in Lagos, Nairobi and London at the same time; the time zones are not the hard part.

04 What you get

What I bring to a team.

  • Search that ties to revenue. I start from the number the business cares about and work back to the pages, queries and fixes that move it. Rankings are a means, not the report.
  • Range. Technical SEO, content and E-E-A-T, digital PR and link acquisition, international SEO, local SEO and growth. Fewer hand-offs, fewer gaps.
  • Technical SEO at scale. Architecture, crawl budget, indexation, JavaScript rendering, log files, migrations, faceted navigation and hreflang on sites of thousands of pages, written up as specifications engineers can build from. Two years as a technical product manager means I speak their language.
  • Agency and brand experience. Campaigns for Google, Meta and Spotify at EXPOZE, including the Google Maps anniversary and Spotify Wrapped in Nigeria.
  • AI search, done properly. Entity work, structured data and knowledge graph presence, so the brand is recognised by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Claude. I wrote about it in Entities, Not Keywords and The Fault Lines.
  • Team building. I built SEOGidi's team of SEO, content and link acquisition specialists from the first hire and wrote the playbooks they deliver to. More than 1,000 marketers trained along the way.
  • Tools I use daily. GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio, Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush and the DataForSEO API, with research and reporting automated in Python, Apps Script and Claude Code.
  • Recognition. TechPreneur of the Year, MAYA Awards Africa 2018. MRes in International Relations, University of Wolverhampton, and a published research paper. Founder of SERPGidi, endorsed by Innovator International.

Proof is on the work page, including the case study that took a small business to number one on Google in two cities.

05 How it works

Three steps, no runaround.

  1. Send the role or brief. Use the contact form or email wole@woldezzy.xyz. A job description, a paragraph about the problem, or a link to the role is enough. Say whether it is full-time, contract, fractional or a project.
  2. A short call. Thirty minutes to check fit on both sides. If I am not the right person, I will say so and, where I can, point you to someone who is.
  3. A clear proposal. For roles, the usual interview process. For contracts and projects, a written scope with outcomes, timeline and cost, before any work starts.

I reply within two working days.
